Joint Pain

Do people with Marfan have joint pain? My joints are popping like Rice Krispies. My right knee is partially dislocated and I am going to see a surgeon about this. Not that I am going to have the surgery, I just want to know my options. My elbow hurts on the right side as well. Everytime I move, something pops around. My jaws have been loose and popping but only when I open my mouth a certain way and it pops. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

" I get that also. A doctor would have to say whether it is Marfan related or not. "

" Thanks. I go to the rhuemo doc on the 27thand I have an appt with a genetic dr. on July 22nd-that is the soonest I can get in around here. I may end up going to St. Louis or Chicago if my rhuemo dr. thinks it is necessary. I dont know what I got, but I fit a lot of the Marfan traits and so does my son. I refuse to believe this joint pain is all separate causes. My elbow going out, my knees, my jaw, my back..unless I am just one big degenerative person! Maybe so...who knows? I do know it has gotten worse over the last year and I had to quit my job in 06 due to my back being pretty bad. Now, I have other joints being affected. I have been tested for RA and ANA and negative results...this is frustrating. Connecting the dots is the key to all of this. Thanks and hope you are doing well today. "
