Hi there. I know I have marfan's, but I haven't been to a doctor about it for years. It's an odd situation, as I don't remember it much, I was diagnosed about six years ago.

The hospital looked into it (GP was no good) they decided my spine was dead straight, no natural curve, I also have flat feet. I have minor chest indentation, and I have a stretched aortic valve/vein, Glaucoma runs in my family.

Bone wise I'm odd, I'm only about 5ft 8 or so, and my arm span is only just more than my height.

So my body takes a little bit more effort to pump blood. Now the doctors told me all this, but I don't recall them ever asking me to come back at set dates for check ups.

I'm wondering do I have very mild marfan's syndrome or not? It does concern me I never have to go back for checkups. I even do a bit of heavy lifting here and there, though nothing serious.

I've never really suffered any problems from it, no aneurysm or heart problems, just normal daily life. But I still think I have this, so I don't o any exercise/body building.

So sorry for the long post, to sum up my questions are: Do I have marfan's, should I be getting regular checkups, can people with marfan's still exercise and work out or not?
