Hey you guys
A DS user asked me this question so Im going to post the answer here. Here is a "normal" semen analysis 1) Normal semen volume is 2-5 ml 2) Normal sperm concentration is greater than 20 million/ml (some suggest we should lower the "normal range" to 15 million per ml) 3) Sperm motility: Normal sperm motility is at least 50% with normal motility AND 25% of those have "rapid progressive motility" 4) Normal morphology: by strict criteria for "normal" morphology at least 10-15% should be normal. Hope this helps Dr O. Posted on 06/17/09, 02:06 pm |

Thank you so much for this! I have a question about the morphology: My husband just got the results from the SA (it was a home kit that the urologist gave us), the normal morphology was low @ 37 and the strict morphology was low at 6. What options do we have in regards to treatment for this?
