Possible Reversal of Macular Degeneration?

Hello to you all

I'm new to this site and found it when doing a Google search for reversing macular degeneration. I had already been looking into the possible causes of MD and although I am not any kind of authority, it does seem highly possible that it is related to gluten or a gluten intolerance. Many people are gluten intolerant but have no idea that they are. I have early macular degeneration. I found out about this in February this year. In May this year I discovered that I am gluten intolerant. I had been suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome for over 2 years. A search in Google led me to the suggestion that removing gluten from my diet would rid me of the chronic fatigue, so I tried it. After 2 days of being gluten free, the chronic fatigue disappeared. However, I do have other chronic conditions that I have since discovered are now being linked medically to gluten intolerance, so it seems highly likely that as macular degeneration is one of my conditions, it is linked to gluten intolerance also. I have been gluten free for 4 months now and am so looking forward to further health improvements. I hope this information might help some of you out.

" PS...........Perhaps I should say that a gluten free diet might at least halt the progress of AMD. A reversal might be too much to hope for, but I am glad that I have gone gluten free and I'm hoping that at least I can stop the progress of AMD in myself. :) "

" Reversal is not too much to hope for. I cured my glaucoma in 3 weeks. That was over 2 years ago and it has not returned. "

" Carrot juice. And some other fruits and vegetables. Would you like the natural cure for MD? "

" Hi JJ

Yes, anything that you can pass on would be much appreciated. I already eat a diet rich in fruit and vegetables and take various supplements, but there's probably something I'm missing! I also read somewhere that eggs are rich in lutein which is important for eye health. "
