I got a second and third opinion, and I do not have ARMD. I have scarring from a previous "injury" of some sort, and it is highly unlikely that it will get any worse. Most likely cause is my anorexia and stress, so I need to eat well and avoid stress. Easy lol!
Can't tell you how much it helped to have this community for support, and how grateful I am for all of you. I know I can't undo the damage that I've done, but I am so thankful I saw two further consultants. If you have the chance, and you think you need it, then do it. I don't have to go back for 2 years, but I can go back any time if I'm worried. So I'm bowing out of this community, but you will stay in my thoughts. Posted on 08/26/09, 11:08 am |

Take care of yourself. I have a niece that I am pretty sure is anorexic and she is 24 years old has is not at all developed I was told (???). Really scary problem!!!
Glad you are dealing with it! I had no idea that anorexia could cause so many problems! Thanks for sharing this with us.
