I am going to begin injection treatments next week. What kind of results should I expect from treatment?
Right now images in my left eye are very distorted and are green in the center of my vision. Can I expect improvement in the affected eye?

" Yes,I was told 70% success rate. My right eye went from center black-out to blurry but readable in the last 6 months. I get my next shot in 2 weeks. "

" Thanks for the feedback. How many shots have you had in the last 6 months? It's just been a week since mine was diagnosed and it seems to be getting worse. I'll get my first shot Wednesday. It might just be that I'm more aware of the blurry vision now. I'm also wondering if there is any down time after the shot? "

" I will be getting my fifth shot in two weeks. The plan is ,one shot every six weeks at a total of six shots. In my case, the shot is very unconfortable the day of the shot. The next day,I don't feel so good either. Maybe 70%. You can see the liquid inside your eyeball the first 24 hours. Some times I feel better then others. "

" Well It's too late to get a reply now because I'm getting a shot in the morning. The doctor said it wasn't necessary to have someone drive me. From your reply I'm wondering if I should ask my wife to go with me. I can put up with discomfort, I'm concerned about being able to see to drive. "

" I always have my wife drive after the shot. The first hour after the shot ,your eye burns. I have a hard time keeping it open. "

" Smokyjoe: I had the shot a few hours ago. There was more discomfort than I expected afterwards. I had to redo all the test because I have joined the CATT study. http://www.med.upenn.edu/cpob/stud...
I was able to drive without difficulty. The Doctor seems hopeful the treatments will help. "
