A few weeks ago I posted a question asking where I could find a used reader for my mother-in- law. The President of the AMD Association contacted me to keep looking on Ebay and I found one at a very reasonable cost including delivery- This was a GOD send as it is tough for a 92 year old lady to adjust (as it is for eveyone!).
You guys are a wonder- yes I feel as if you have a lot to deal with and I might not do any better than the next should this happens to me. When I was very young and newly divorced I went back to college- had to do something right? the fall semister in between classes I ran into a girl I had met in the spring semister and not seen all summer- when I asked how her summer was (again-feeling sorry for my "used shoe status") she replied "MY brother was killed by a drunk driver- my father is so depressed he can't work, my mothwer has turned to prescription drugs for comfort and I have spent the summer caring for my 13 y/o brother." I walked away SO THANKFUL that I did not get HER stuff and only had my stuff to deal with. I started making a list of things to be fgeateful for- and counted every single thing I could think of- you guys are amoung the things to be thankful for! Thanks! Posted on 06/23/09, 11:06 am |
