If it will not help, why would you risk the side effects?

Something doesn't sound right. If I was you I would see a different specialist. My retinologist would not recomend shots that did not help me. I have had Maculer wet spots in both eyes and am still reading and driving. Had laser surgery on my left eye, got back 20-25 in that eye. Had to have shots in the other eye and got back to about 20-70, reading not so good in that eye, but appears to be improving. At my docrors recomendation I take Preservision which was developed specifically for this eye disease. As a side affect the Preservision cleared up a skin problem on my face I had for 20 years, must of been the antioxidents.
