I found out today that my kidneys are hardening due to the autoimmune diseases. I also have swollen lymph glands obstructing my bowels. The kidney disease is the part I have been afraid of ever since I was dx'd with autoimmune diseases back in 2001. I know too many of us who have died as a result, or at least suffer many years of pain and dialysis... I am really scared and angry that the dise...

Well, this morning the bad voices seem to be gone. My husband felt I was ok enough for him to go to work. I will have to take my pain meds today, I've been avoiding them for days now, but the time has come to give in and take care of myself. Hello journal...
I have a headache
I'm shaky
My eyes hurt
I just want to go lay down
My throat hurts from my VNS, it hurts when I swallow.
I'm having a 'flare' of my mixed connective tissue disease.
I was doing so much better, could get out of bed on my own.
I'm sweating
My sugar is going low.
There isn't anyone I know that has the same illnesses as me.

This past year and a half of illness has been difficult. I feel as if I was sent on a journey with no road map, compass or known destination. I am thankful to those who have helped to guide me along the way. I am especially thankful to my husband and boys who have waited patiently for me to find my way home to them.

Whine, whine, whine, I like to sniffle and then complain.
Even when it's bright and sunny, I can always spot the rain.
