Anyone else have problems with nails growing under. Looks like hooks . lol. It was always just the index finger now it is five or six nails just this past while. Guess I will keep my nails short eh. hugs Marilyn. I think its from the crest.

My nails don't grow under. They twist. Was just a pinky now it's 3 of them. Do you think it's MCTD related? I always figured it was lack of vitamins or the aenmia.

Makes sense since the Vit deficiencies and anemia are also probably caused from the MCTD and RA.
I have one nail that 3 yrs ago when the aenemia almost killed me, developed a crack from nailbed to tip and now it just grows like that and splits longwise every few months almost to the nail bed. This is also one that has started twisting.

I was just wondering this myself, lol. Mine turn under at the tip in the middle. It is like the rest of the nail is strong, just that area is weak. Strange, huh? Hugs, Sheri
