I was diagnosed with mctd and rheumatoid arthritis last week, already had sub acute cutaneous lupus and raynauds for 11 years. Don't know what to expect. Have alot of joint issues and skin problems, I don't think I'm doing very well.

You sure have your share! Join us on the discussion page as the Advice area doesnt get much use.
Look over past topics. You will get the general idea that anything can happen! All of the autoimmune stuff is so interrelated that it is hard to tell them apart sometimes. Achy joints are par for the course, as is muscle pain, reflux, Raynauds. Luckily, most of us dont have organ involvement, but some do. I hope your treatment does you well! and welcome! Mary Ann

And welcome again! How the symptoms are today may not be how they are tomorrow. I was dx'd with lupus in '74 or so, more accurate diagnosis of MCTD sometime in the '90s, was in nearly full remission for many years. Keep in touch, let us know how it goes, we are indeed a friendly bunch, and full of opinions, some well informed, some educated hunches, and some flat-out crackpot superstitious nonsense (at least from me, anyway!)
Best, --Cat
