Im at my wits end with this that there is no cure or even the slightest of help for Lymphedema.

Someone mentioned the drug 'Salsalate' as being effective. When I google it it came back as a treatment for Artheritis and mentioned nothing about it helping Lymphedema.

Please can anyone give me further advice and information on this drug because if it helps I will get to my Dr's ASAP to ask him for it.Also can anyone tell me where they heard of Salsalate being effective.

Thanks,peace,Mumski-Moo

" What are you doing now? Have you seen any therapists? Are you using compression wraps? Are you massaging the affected areas or doing any exercises. At the moment I am trying Bay Leaf Laural.
It's an aromatherapy oil that does indicate it will help lymphedema and arthritis. Too soon for me to tell.
I never heard of the other medicine.

" Hey Sandy, regarding the aromatherapy oil,I really hope it works for you so please keep me posted on that. Another group member mentioned the drug 'Salsalate' as helping but its an artheritic med so I'm a little dubious.I am going to visit the Lymphedema web site and see what they say (I dont know why the heck I haven't visited it yet)At the mo I wear the tight stockings and I have been doing regular exercise and it seems to be helping, the swelling has gone down quite a lot.I've also heard that jumping on a rebounder/trampette is meant to help. But as it stands the medical proffesion has no answer,I wont say whats on my mind about that esp coz so many people have it and they haven't come up with an answer by now?? Anyway,if I find out anything that can help I will be sure to enlighten the group. Peace, joy n good health to you,Mumski "
