" It's a drink. I think there are many ways to nourish the body without spending tons of money but that's just me. Sounds like snake oil to me. "

" There's also a (supposed) healing method called Advanced Cell Therapy, which used to be called IRT (don't remember what that stood for)....If you pay them (and I paraphrase), they will train you to change your cells, or something, like mind over matter....

Although I'm all for positive thinking, meditation, etc., I've never heard of anyone healed from lyme by using ACT.

You can google Advanced Cell Therapy and find their website or facebook site. "

" Why is it when one crab tries to climb up out of the bucket, the other crabs pull 'em back down? Please don't steal each others hope. The leading cause of death in Lyme Disease sufferers is suicide. So, how about encouraging each other instead of being so quick to misinform someone of something you know little about. Advanced Cell Training is recommended by one of the Lyme specialists in Connie Strasheim's book, Insights into Lyme Disease Treatment. It is also written about in Bryan Rosner's book, 2008 Lyme Disease Annual Report. Does that sound like a scam to you? I did ABX, Salt/VitC, The Zapper, and Advanced Cell Training. Want to know the truth? Do your own research and don't depend on advice from others that have never tried it. Go on Facebook and search, "Advanced Cell Training" and read two pages of posts left by Lyme sufferers that are winning the battle. There is hope... I'm living proof you can beat it. Good luck! :) "

" Glad it worked for you.
Nobody hear is trying to steal anyones hope. What on EARTH do you know about any of us to make such a horridly offensive and hurtful statement? WAndairoo was asking for opinions.... That's what we did. We shared wgat we thought. Your statement might have actually inspired me to further investigate if it hadn't have come across so unkind.
No crabs in this bucket ... Just humans deep in crisis. Including you, I suppose, or you wouldn't be here.

Wandairoo.... Did i crush your hope? I really am sorry if anything I said did that. "

" I wasn't sure if we were talking about a drink, a gadget, or what. Even when something works on the placebo effect, if it helps, I'm all for positive results.

Speaking of positive, let's all try to see the good in each other and not jump to criticism and judgment. DailyHope, I know that you're new here, and were probably well intended in wanting to make sure people know that ACT has helped many. (But your post felt like an attack and could do the opposite of what you intended- alienate people from being open to alternative therapies.) What you probably don't know is that from time to time, scammers come on here and try to take advantage of lyme patients who have suffered for years, feel horrible and desperate. We try to protect one another.... "

" Wow Dailyhope,
i am confused because I don't see anywhere on either of the replies where someone has put down or "stoled" anyones hope. I think it is a very good thing when people express their opionions and ideas. Not everyone has the same outcomes and it is good to know that it has or hasn't helped someone out.
I do agree that doing your own research is essential and is key but people would not be posting here and asking questions if they did not want others opionions. For you to make those statements is wrong, I don"t know who you were referring it too. "

" Am I confused? Because it looks to me like wandairoo came here asking for different opinions or personal experiences with this Advanced Cell Training, and people who responded, responded out a sense of wanting to help.

No one, you included, DailyHope can presume to know what another person does or doesn't know. If leaping to conclusions were an Olympic event, you'd be a contender on this one.

We all have our own, unique set of personal experiences and what works for one person in terms of therapy for Lyme would be another person's poison at worst or just ineffectual. It's one thing to come here and offer someone your hopeful story, but denigrating others is unwelcome at best. Let's keep this board civil and kind, as requested by those who offer us this wonderful forum.

If there were one magic bullet to fight this illness, then I'm certain that we would all be more than grateful. Sadly, there isn't.

And wandairoo, you seemed to wonder if this was for real, or yet another *trick* as you put it. I hope that the direction that thread has taken doesn't keep you from finding what you were looking for. Good luck! "

" I gave my opinion, followed by facts. Advanced Cell Training is not a drink, but you stated that as if it were a fact. I encourage everyone to try keep trying different treatments until you find what works for them. I didn't see anyone encourage wandairoo. All I saw was misinformation and negativity. Snake oil? I find that offensive. Please do a little research before you make such comments. "

" Well we're all pretty happy here with one another and how we treat one another with respect and love and how we encourage one another. I sure don't see anything discouraging or wrong in any of these posts except for daily hope who seems to be very condescending. Since you are new, perhaps you could read alot of the different posts to see how they flow before assuming the worst of us. I don't want to treat you like you have treated others here, but really you come off as pretty hard hitting. Perhaps it's your use of comparing us to crabs, much more offensive than "snake oil", which sadly abounds in the natural treatment realm. It all came off as rather hurtful, and one thing about lyme, it makes one very sensitive to being hurt. Standstrong you are the force behind the strength of this group, so brush it off. You don't owe an apology. daily hope I'm sure you are a very nice person who just got off on a bad start. As you can see, we are very protective of one another. Stick around, and try to phrase things in love and you'll see we defend you too. You'll find we're all very forgiving and have open arms to receive a fellow lymie. Let's lock arms and continue forward in faith and love and the hope we have ALWAYS offered one another. "
