I havent been here in a while. Just tryin to live my life and take care of my kids as best as I can. But lately I havent been doing so well physically and emotionally. My insurance company is pretty much cutting me off. I think I need to wait till january to go back to the doctor. I am in soo much pain and just cant take it anymore. The last 2 days have just been so awful. This morning I broke down in front of my husband ( I normally wait till he leaves for work) but he was running late and I had just brought the kids to school and just couldnt hold it in. But he was soo supportive and tried to make me feel better. Hes been trying to take the load off of me lately. But I am my own worst enemy. I get so upset when I cant do things because of pain or exhaustion. And now...now im at the point where the drs are telling me I dont have lyme disease. That I HAD it and now its gone and my symptoms but be related to something else,

" Are you taking pain meds? If it's that bad, you should give them a thought. Sorry for what you're going through. Juggling anything with Lyme is hard, but I try to believe we are all stronger for it. "

" Ahhh Now they are going to say you have post lyme syndrome.
You need a Lyme Literate Doctor.
I know they are expensive but it is the best way to get your life back. You are too young to not invest in yourself and your own health. Your family needs you.
You cannot wait until january if you are declining. "

" I am thankful I didn't have Lyme (or it wasn't symptomatic) when my sons were young- I simply could not have handled it very well at all.

I recently ordered two special back issues of Lyme Times- it is a publication put out by CALDA. One is focused entirely on insurance issues, and gives many practical tips on how to deal with insurance companies.

It cost $10 (that is the membership price) but it is easily worth the price if you are struggling with insurance. You may want to consider that.

Ditto the comment RE: pain pills- there are times when I know some people become dependent on them, but I believe if you are truly in pain, your body metabolizes it differently.

The holidays are coming up and you will be under even more stress- I hope you can see an LLMD before Janurary.

PS- Your husband sounds wonderful! "

" I have to see a Pain Management doctor for my pain or I would never be able to walk. I am so sorry to hear that you are not doing well. I did miss hearing from you. I know exactly what you mean about trying to be strong. I did the same thing the other day. I think that once it gets to be to uch to keep it in we just spill it out. Which is good even though we do not want to admitt it!!
My husband has carrried the ball when I was working and when I had to stop working I tried and did for awhile but now I am back to not getting alot done in a day.
Maybe you need to go see another LLMD, was the one that told you , you were better a LLMD?? This wont get better ithout treatment and Julie H is right. Your health is worth all the money in the world. I had to pay out of pocket for over 3 years $350.00 a visit not including supplement when I went to that Fibro clinic. luckily I was working at the time but your health comes first and we scraped and skimmped but we managed.
I wishyou much luck and I am here if you need anything that I can help with even if just to talk to someone that undestands.
Meshell is also right when she said that this disease makes us strong. If your not strong it will eat you alive. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. "
