I have just been approched by a friend of a friend who reccommened intravenous ozone shots. I don't know anything about them. This person seems to know quite alot about the natural approach to illnesses, not sure if she knows alot about Lyme specifically. I was approached in an email, after I told her about my Lyme (in an email).
So, what is this? How does it work? Is anyone using this treatment? Can it or should it be done in conjunction with the treatment I am currently doing (antiobiotics, supplements 3 months)? I am open to anything that will help me to close this chapter, but I must say that I feel that this current treatment is making a difference for the better, so I don't want to sabotoge it. She did question "why antiobiotics?". I cant imagine treating this without antiobiotics. But, if both treatments can be done together, then why not? Thank you all so much, I am learning so much from you all. Posted on 11/06/09, 06:11 am |

Hi Daleyboy,
Lyme is such an individual disease, and each person dals with it diofferently. Also, for some the Abx do not work, and/or people choose to use natural methods to deal with it it. There are also many that use both traditiional and alternative methods, under the guidance of their LLMD's. Here is a link to ozone therapy: http://www.chroniclymedisease.com/... If your current protocol is working effectively, in my opinion...I wouldn't mess with it. You are very lucky! There may be a time when you will need to look at changing tactics, and now would be a great time to start your research. Cheers!

I agree that if what you are on is working then I would not fix what isn't broke as they always say. Now on the other hand if you start not to do so hot on this treatment than you may want to reconsider but if your feeling better stay with what your doing.
