Is it petechiae? Are they bright red, like blood?

Did they give you antibiotics for the cellulitis? Are you still on it? The speckles (petechiae, if Matty's right and he usually is) could be a result of medication. As for one side of the face, that's strange. Do you generally stand in the shower with one side of your face towards the water more than the other?

I got the red spots.. BEFORE medication. They are tiny hemorrages in the capillaries which breaks blood through to the skin. They were on my legs, then spread to arms, then spread to my body. If you google pictures of it, you will mostly see extreme cases, but i just have little red dots scattered, not in clumps, and a couple bigger ones.

Matty did you ever figure out what caused it?

They can be natural, but the acute onset of mine says they were caused by something. They can be caused by auto-immune disorders, i think maybe live or skin diseases too?

Maybe a dermatologist could help. Is it hidradenitis?

Sorry Matty. I guess both come to think of it. Someone on another forum here had this. It could possibly be mistaken for Lyme (I think) according to the description of the rash.
I hope whatever it is ceases and desists for you both. Hate this disease.

I already know what mine is... my doctor looked at it. It has to be caused by the Lyme.

Wow. I really hope they find a cure soon or something to get it under control that ultimately eradicates it for good.
It can wreak havoc.
