Hi, I got my CD57 results back from my LLMD today. I scored 340 out of 360, which is really, really good. And I have been feeling fantastic for the last month - not a hint of a herx, all my strength is back, etc.
I'm curious what people think. Am I cured? Or is the Lyme just hiding? The LLMD thinks it may be. But I think they may have caught it early enough and I might just be cured. What do you think? (I wrote in gory detail about this in my journal entry for 7/1/09 if you want more info) Thanks, -FM Posted on 07/02/09, 01:07 am |

I do not believe that lyme is ever cured! I think you can win the battle. What that means is that you can get it under so much control, bacteria load so low that you feel no affects of the disease. So it feels like it is gone. But... In times of stress or poor habits of health lifestyle then the little buggers could come back out and recreate havoc. I'd keep taking meds and discuss with the LLMD the plan to stop taking them. Some llmd's step down to taking meds occassionally (twice a week or once a week or just once a month eventually) to bop the little buggers on the head when they try to pop back out.
Enjoy feeling better! Know that your whole body is in a healthier state and that you are getting closer and closer to a life that you want.
