I am being treated by my MD who does not seem to be Lyme Literate and I'd really like to know if anyone knows of someone in Delaware. My Md is nice but this is the very first time he's treated me for anything serious and I could really use more support. Thanks

" Sory I guess my message didn't get all the way through. I live in MD in Cecil County and go to a very good LLMD in NJ. It takes me about 2 hours to go there but well worth it and after the initial visit he only charges $95 a visit which is unheard of in the Lyme community. Most charge $3- 400.00 a visit. The first will cost a lot more of course. He is the best I have been too. My whloe family has this and finally we all can afford to be seen. It use to be just me becasue we could not afford $1200.00 each month so I was the worst. If you would like the info let me know I do not want to put it out here, I don't think we are allowed to do that anyway.o "

" It's always a good idea to protect your treating LLMD and send PM's... "

" That is why I didn't want to give his info out there. I don't think I would even PM I would use my regular e-mail address. There are to many people out there waiting to go after their practicing license because they treat us with antibiotics.
I think that is so very wrong. There in my opinion have been enough reported casesand their treatments to prove that this is a serious medical condition by now. It drives me crazy when I talk about it and people just look at you like there is no way in the world I could have Lymes. Then when they find out it is true I feel like yelling "I TOLD YOU SO !!" but socoiety has made LYME a dirty disease if you will.
Like we have a freind who it took me over 1 year of constantly telling her my story and bringing her literature and comparing our symptoms. This women was hanging on by a thread and I finally convinced her to go to my doctor and guess what? It wasn't firo or Lupus or nothing else they told her she had it is Lymes.
After not having any fight in her she finally gave in and went and now is ob the road to recovery . I just thank my God for not giving up and just giving her nibbles of info everytime I saw her at softball practice.
So it is very important to protect those who are good at treating us that has Lymes. "
