claire if you can i would consult with a llmd-i have lyme,my daughter, 2 sisters-in law and my father who was just hospitalized with gall bladder pancreatitis as his internist did not know what he was doing-he put my father on iv rocephin with no discussions about precautions and what to look out for and because of his ignorance my father has paid the price-my father now states that he should have gone to a lyme specialist. my sisterinlaw was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia for 9 years and was really sick. she had mutlitple lyme tests that were negative and she finally went to someone who knew what they were doing-she was diagnosed with lyme and made a complete recovery and has been like a new person. i firmly believe that we should go to someone who knows what they are doing-llmd- and we should also do our own research-i have spent countless hours researching and everything i have learned has helped me tremendously and it has also helped my father. the best of luck to you
