" Hello iBelieve...I am sorry you are experiencing this, and yes I can tell you it does happen with Lyme. You are NOT losing your mind, and I know it feels like it. Lyme attacks all systems of the body, and it can be quite scary.

Are you currently being treated for Lyme? Could you be herxing?

If it is a new symptom for you, I would connect with your Dr and have it checked out. "

" Yup, most likely all because of the Lyme's. I got lost inside a CVS store when I was at my worst. I also have periods where I get blurry vision in one eye, and sometimes see things out of the corner of my eyes that aren't there...like spiders on the wall. Then when I turn to see it better, it's not there. The syptoms for me wax and wane. We will all be sane again when we are cured!!! "

" You are NOT crazy! And you are not alone. You will get your mind back!
Are you seeing an LLMD (lyme specialist) This disease is too complicated to not have a docotr with lots of experience intreating this horrible disease. "

" Hello again, I noticed that you are also dealing with anxiety - this can also be caused by Lyme. My condition had deteriorated (3.5 years of missed diagnosis), and I also suffer with panic and anxiety. I am off meds for that since starting my Lyme treatment. It is improving - slowly. The Lyme will not go away on it's own, it is very important for you to seek an LLMD. Treatment is bearable because we all want to be well! It gets worse before it gets better, so it is important to remember that you WILL get better. "

" Hi
You are not crazy.....I had my friend who is an optometrist check me out and told he could see my eye muscles were spasming. Since I was having other neurological problems such as memory loss and getting seasick when I walked, He felt that the Lyme bacteria was messing with my neuropaths between the eyes and the brain. "

" I haven't smoked a joint in 30 years - but I often feel like I'm 'high' again. There are times when I am 100% convinced I will be dead within a few days. Unfortunately, that's 'normal' with lyme.

Please don't be afraid to start treatment. It almost certainly will not get better by itself. Good luck "

" Hey, I Believe.

My vision problems are my worst symptoms. I know what you mean when you say you feel high. At its worst I feel like I am tripping as well. I see spots on the wall, become extremely light sensitive, see rainbows in my peripheral. The worst of these problems got better with treatment over time but I still have issues with my eyes.

Please get treatment from a LLMD as soon as you can. I know you are probably waiting to feel comfortable, I've been there, but the Lyme will make you both anxious and lazy, and, pretty soon, two months will have gone by and you will not have done anything to help yourself. Think of all those fears as the Lyme trying to beat you into submission, and then go kick its ass.

After you get treatment though, go see an ophthalmologist (to make sure nothing is permanently wrong with your eyes) and an optometrist, who may be able to make them better with glasses or training.

A couple of weeks ago, after dealing with this for years, I was given glasses with prisms in them. They don't make things perfect, but I do not feel disoriented all the time and I can read for more than a few minutes. Ask your eye doctor about them, they may be able to help a lot of what you a feeling, and bring back some sanity in the meantime until you can get better.

Sorry for running on... I hope you feel well today. "
