Does anyone else have back issues. I sometimes get my flares in my back...lower back or between my shoulder blades. Today I woke up and my lower back is swollen and hurts to move...now its pinching nerves going down my left leg. This really is not good. I had to feed and clean stalls today...and I mean it took me all day. Had to keep stopping and once even come in a get into bath tub. Tomorrow I am getting help from one of the boarders. Thank god. I don't think I could go thru another day like I did today.
So is it just what I do for a living or is it my lupus. I knew I was going into a flare the last couple of days...lots of swelling in feet and hands and face again. Plus the fatigue...the horrible bone tiredness. Now this ... does anyone else have this or am I just broken down....lol

" Thank you everyone for replying to my post. I am still down today with the back pain. I can tell its better than it was..but tomorrow will be the test. OUCH! Back to cleaning stalls. I do know that I will take many trips and lighter loads. I sometimes am horrible at overloading the wheelbarrel and then its really heavy. I too am supposed to have surgery...but I am to nervous with the whole idea of them cutting on my spine. I don't get many flares up in my lower back...my neck and between shoulder blades a lot more. I thought I could just do the wait and see approach. But if this keeps up I might now have any choice. And yes I am going to talk to my PCP about the pain clinic. I have just been dealing with one thing at a time with him first my sinuses and swelling and now this...shoot
