" I have blurry vision too and was diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome last month. I was given OTC drops to try first because my opthamalagist told me Restasis sometimes makes your eyes worse for a while before starting to work. I haven't heard anyone else mention that though so who knows. How long are your eyes blurry? Mine lasts anywhere frm 30 seconds to 5 minuntes and it is scary. I haven't noticed improvement yet from the OTC drops.

" I mentioned earlier that I have dry eyes, but Doc thinks maybe Sjogrens, which I will be tested for in a couple of months. Till then it is eye drops and warm, wet compresses. I can't say that the eyes get that blury, however, they are constantly tearing, reddish and itchy! I also woke up one morn thinking I had Pink Eye! It gets very crusty and gross! I wonder if steroid eye drops will help? On a funny note, putting on mascara is a hoot! I look like Tammy Faye Baker ! "

" Mine is constant. But it's only when I am trying to read something and a couple times I have gotten the cloudiness while looking at someone, or focusing. "

" I get it a lot too when I am reading or looking at the computer. My eyesight is fine and the opthamalagist attributed it to dry eyes / Sjogrens. I haven't noticed a big difference with the OTC eye drops yet. I usually just quit reading or being on the computer when it happens because if I wait for my vision to get better & go right back to what I was focusing on, it usually gets blurry again pretty quickly & lasts longer. " Have you had a Schirmer's test. Schirmer's test determines whether the eye produces enough tears to keep it moist. It is done by an opthamologist. I had ductal plugs put in my lower tear duct and was told to use Restasis for the rest of my life. Do you also have a dry mouth? There also is a dry eye shop that contains a lot of information on dry eyes and different things that work for people. http://store.nexternal.com/shared/... "
