Im not trying to sound rude at all, but these type of remedies do not work for everyone... If a person truely has Lupus, they should never exchange their medications for supplements or a raw food diet, colon cleansing, etc. None of these things have been medically proven to cure auto-immune disease's. Im not saying that you shouldnt add something "SAFE" to your regimine to see if it helps you feel better. But, disregarding medical research and medication that controls a disease is just insane in my opinion. It can damage your body which may not be able to be repaired. There is NO NATURAL CURE for Lupus. I think it is important for newly diagnosed patients to know this. Also, certain supplements/herbs can be toxic to people with Lupus or auto-immune disease's. I know first hand. I almost killed myself taking goldenseal and echinacea! For anyone who is considering alternative medications while having lupus, PLEASE get the ok from your rheumatologist first before taking anything. It can be a matter of life and death.........Alot of these sites just want to take your money....If you dont have an auto-immune disease or lupus....go for it. If you do, dont waste your money or get your hopes up. Its just not realistic.

First of all, Dr. Schultz is NOT a MEDICAL DOCTOR. He has a degree from who-knows-where in something Herbology, He's also received a yoga-instructor’s degree and three black belts in the martial arts.

NONE OF THIS GIVES HIM ANY KNOWLEDGE TO TREAT LUPUS!!!! Come on, folks, do you want a doc who's done a 100 clinical trials on cures for lupus or one who has a black belt? As for the lovely story he tells about his heart deformity, we all know that heart deformities can cause death at any age; the fact that he's not dead does NOT mean he's cured himself; it means he's been lucky.

The BIGGEST RED FLAG IS THAT HE'S SELLING STUFF. He's in this for PROFIT.

I read through his "cures". Study after study after study has been done showing that colonic cleansing is total, unmititaged BUNK. Our bodies are designed to eliminate toxins via our kidneys and liver. Period. Our colons do not need to be vacuumed out every so often. The things this guy suggests would put any real lupus patient in to the world's BIGGEST FLARE. His suggestions cause extreme STRESS ON THE BODY and will HURT YOU. We're not computers that can be reset by fasting or cleansing. The only reset possible is a BMT or stem cell transplant. But these things he's selling---they are crap! Do not waste your money.

Like Melissa, I have seen so many newbies fall for these quack cures. They may THINK they feel better afterwards, but soon after, their disease flares and they look for a new "cure". We've got an UNCURABLE disease. That's the way it is. And anyone who says that he can cure us, well, he's either insane or after our money. No reputable doc would say, "I'm going to give you this and you'll be cured" would they? Think about it.

As for the cold sheet treatment, it is a RIDICULOUS DANGEROUS IDEA. (http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1234555#i) Anybody who really has lupus will end up in the HOSPITAL after this. In fact, I suspect many "normal" people will too. The website listed is a cornacopia of quack cures. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!!! You are putting your life at risk.

I agree with Tracy 100%. There is NO CURE for Lupus.....I don't care what these "herbologists" or whatever say.
I had a bout of IBS after Thanksgiving and because of that, my Lupus is in a BIG FLARE right now. ANYTHING that puts stress on your body....even a big meal....can trigger a FLARE.
Don't STRESS your body, that's the last thing you want to do, believe me. Of course newbies want to do anything to "cure" their Lupus and make it go away forever. Unfortunately, there is danger in not following your doctor's directions 100%.
