Well, all of a sudden last night, I broke out with a rash all over my forearms. Not itchy, just a little, but I don't know what it is. I started taking 800 mg ibuprofen 3x a day about a week ago. I don't have a diagnosis yet, so my primary doctor said to try the ibuprofen. It seems to help a little with the fevers and headache, but now I think I am allergic. Any one ever had a rash like this??

" Hello,
Sorry to hear about the rash. Yes this comes with the territory I am finding out lately. I have at least one to 2 rashes daily just out of the blue and they have fever in them. All I do is ride thru it take my Plaquenil and vicodin and now MEthotraxate. Mine has been so bad that I bruise myself from itching. I hope this has been helpful. Hugs, Kelli "

" I was put on Plaquenil and about two weeks into it I got a wicked case of the hives. I even had them between my toes. I'm on nothing but Prednisone now. Allergic generally means swelling. Benadryl will usually take care of that but you (if like me) will be a zombie. I try the less is better if at all possible. The more I rub or itch the worse I feel. It has taught me patience. "
