I have these sores frequently. My doctor said it is Herpes Simplex Virus. She prescribed Denavir cream and it is fantastic!! Cleared up in less than a week when applied the moment the sore pops up. I have tried Abreva and it took 13 days to clear up. Denavir is worth the money ($40 for a very small tube without insurance).

I get them sometimes too! The doctor told me that yes it is Lupus related. He said that rashes can appear all over the face and that includes the lips. I just use carmex. It works and it's cheap. I apply it constantly when that happens. But the answer is yes. Darn Lupus!

Another popular treatment if it is herpes simpelx is zovirax. It has been extremely helpful in the past for me.... Unfortunately, this is usually a sign of an oncoming flare

I have sores in my feet side of my nails. Blisters/sores? but not painful. It is soooooo itchy, super itchy, red and shiny. I dont like to start itch or else I could hardly stop to itch anymore.

Ya i no its not oral herpes, my sister gets that and it doesnt look anyhting like it, i have been using blistex and its working somewhat bu still sore and swollen, thanxs all

try HerpecinL it works great that is what i have always used for fever blisters on my lips.
