" This sounds like disc problems. If you have a herniated disc in your spine and it hits a nerve this can cause an electrical sensation that travels and numbness and tingling sensations. I have a herniated disc in my neck so I am all too familiar with these sensations. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon. HUGS!! "

" Hi I have a very similar problem, but according to the MRI's and other exploriatory procedures I had it is not my disc. Mine is due to a condition called Peripheral Neuropathy. Here are two links that I found useful in further understanding what my doctors have patiently explained to me:
http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders...

and

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/p...

Finally, the best advise I can give you is to go to your doctor, but go prepared. Research your symptoms so you are better prepared. Feel better.

Hope "

" Maybe you need an emg from a neurologist to figure the cause out. They will be able to see if it is a pinched nerve or something in your spine causing it, or peripheral neuropathy. "
