I have experienced a terrible headache for about a year. It gets worse during flares but even when Im feeling better it appears sometimes. Its an awful headache, really severe and intense. It doesnt feel like a normal headache, nothing helps painkillers have little or none effects. I used to call it my "brainache"
I havent discussed this with my rheumy since I didnt think it was something related to Lupus. But I sure will talk to him on friday when he calls me. Now I've found some articles about it and some say it exists, some say it doesnt, My questions are: Have U experienced this kind of "brainache"? Does the Lupus headache exist? omg the headaches i get are so painful, i cant even move my head...these last for days...no meds given have worked so far, and the nausea and sickness comes with it...honestly im worn out........
i wish you all the best and if you are lucky enough to find something that helps your headaches can you please let me know...thanks!

i get weird headaches
towards the back of my head i only take acetominophen since im pregnant. i got diagnosed through my obgyn , should i see a different doctor for myself. i only have medicaid

Mariana1 mine were at the back of my head too and my new Neurologist just put me on Neurotin and I am amazed it is helping a lot. My rear head pain is so bad I can't lay on my back because my head hurt so bad, but the head pain was in my whole head too. Have you seen a Neurologist?
