my Mom, best friend, passed away from Stage 4 lung cancer in Feb. I'm still deeply heartbroken. I watched helplessly as the cancer ravaged her once strong, healthy body. I feel dead inside...is this normal? I have nightmares she is hurting and I trty to help, but can't. Tried therapy/meds they only help slighty. How can I get mart this torment?? Near the end she was on oxygen, bed ridden, could not even muster up the energy to take a shower. I want to be with her. Why did God allow her to suffer? Life can be so cruel

" I am so sorry you are so sad. I am truly sorry for your loss. It is difficult to loss a loved one especially when they were so close to you. Know that your mom is not surrfering now, and I know you did all you could to help her. Know that she loves you and is looking down on you from heaven. I know in my heart that my Robert knows I did all I could for hime, but like you I still wish I could have done more. Cancer is a tough disease. There is a Gilda's club group that is for those with a loss from cancer. There may be one in your area. It is supportive. My prayers are with you. Christine "
