Lung Cancer Support Group

You have my prayers. I have lung cancer - Stage IV - have gone the usual routes and for now it is 'managed'. How are you feeling physically? I already know the mental part of this awful disease. It had gone to my brain as well. I do the every 3 montns various body scans. Sometimes the combination of good doctors, a good attitude, a good support systerm, a good God is all we need. Let's not forgert good test results from the scans we well!

I will keep you in my prayers, my brother had a mass that size in the center of his chest, I can only imagine the pain, I saw my brother go through......... Do they have you on any medications??? The radiation helped shrink my brothers, but doing chemo and radiation took its toll on him.... again you have my thoughts and prayers.......

So sorry --- You are definitely in my prayers - I pray that your results from the pet scan will be good results.

Good luck, and you have my prayers--just keep in mind that God has known our death dates from the day we were born--and since it is alrady picked out, does it really matter how we die on it? My Dad and God won the battle over this awful disease when God called my father home on October 14th, 2006. Once again, my prayers are with you.---Lisa D

The prayers are coming. You are in my prayers. hang in there. Is there a Gilda's club support group near you because they have very good programs and support groups for folks with cancer. Good luck with everything. Many hugs to you.

I would really like to thank everyone for your thought and prayers. Prayers...you can never get enough of them. I am terrified. I have never been sicjk a day in my life. I guess it is the unknown. Maybe someone can tell me what to expect. I know there are alternative treatments. I am looking into them, I go for a pet scan this week,that really scares me. I have no family here. I haven'e even told anyone about this. Just my husband. But I am also the caretaker for my 88 year old mother, She has dementia and I do her dialysis at home. So many things to worry about. Thank you all so very much. It is good to be able to talk about this to someone. God Bless. Fern
