" Are you the one who said you are using Dr. Thiele at utsw? How do you like him and do you think he is a good doctor?

How are you getting along? Do you have pain and if so does the doctor give you anything to help?

The Best to You,
Jilly2 "

" Jilly2,
yes I am using Dr. Thiele at UTSW and love him.......... He is the main professor over that department.

I try and not take anything for pain, but I have a high tolerance. I go again on 11/9 for mri to see if the tumor has grown if so I will have another biopsy

" Well, I go Friday for the MRi... in my charts it shows 2 hours of tests.. wow.......... then the waiting game for the results. I am going to try and see if the tech will just at least tell me if the tumor has grown.. lol I figure they won't but hey I am going to ask anyway.

hugs to all who are going thru such a difficult time,

" What did you find out? My Mother in Law was just diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma and they say that they cannot operate or do a transplant. I think she needs a new hospital. How did yours turn out? "

" Hi txkiki53. I was looking for a site where I could relate to someone with the same type cancer i have. mine also is found in both ducts of my liver and called cholangiocarcinoma. They made me feel this is a rare type. I started my first chemo last week and when I went back for my second was told my blood count was to low and have to wait another week. I was wondering how your doing and what your doctors are trying. I'll be hoping to hear back from you or anyone else who has this same type. Thanks and prayers for all. Connie "
