My mother is 99 and in the last few days of her life or at least we think the last few days. She has liver cancer and no longer eats or drinks and has been sleeping nearly all the time. She's had a long long life but losing her is very hard. I'm full of extreme anxiety over her possibly passing on Feb. 17. That's the same day my sister and also a brotherinlaw passed. How can this be? If she passes on the 17th what does all this mean? Mom is not suffering in pain of which I am extremely thankful for. It seems as though the grieving has already started. My nerves are a mess with worry for her and Feb. 17 to come.

I'm sorry you are going through this. No matter the age, the grieving process is hard as well as all the decision making. Please take care of you. I just said a prayer for you and your mother for comfort and peace.
