Margarine

Seems like I use margarine several times a day, but I have only found one brand that has no lactose in it: Parkay Squeeze. It's not very good. No comparison with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, that's for sure. Has anyone found a better lactose free margarine or know of any substitute that is worth the time?

" Thanks for the suggestion. I looked for sources for Nuttelex online and it apparently is only available in Australia. Someone in another group suggested Earth Balance which Whole Foods carries, and it's pretty good. "

" I am lactose intolerant but I don't seem to react to margarine (and I usually have some several times a day). I usually stick to becel though. Anyways good luck and keep in mind the ingredients to watch out for. "

" Thanks Shamrock, but Becel has either buttermilk or whey in it and I can't handle either. Someone suggested Earth Balance spreads to me and I'm using those now along with the Parkey Squeeze margarine. Butter would taste a whole lot better, but I'm not willing to pay the price it would cost me. "
