Medicines?

Hi I am new to this group. Recently I went to see my doctor about some diarhrea that I had been having for three weeks (I wasn't really that concerned about it intially because I tend to be prone to diarrhea when I am stressed, etc) and she told me she thinks I have developed lactose intolerance-and advised me to go on a lactose-free diet for three weeks and see what happens. She also advised that a sample of my blood be taken to rule out some other problems-which I did.

Now for the last 5 days I have been on the diet and have seen some improvements. However what is frustrating is that it only takes a little bit of milk for me to react-about a quarter of a cup of milk or less-even a full cup of lactaid milk I find I have some problems.

Is there any good medicines I can take for this?
