Im pretty sure it is..I am not stupid..lol
For about 3 months or so I have been having increasingly worse issues. I don't mind being gross so here goes. For instance I eat mac & cheese (the man and child wanted it) and half an hour later I am pooing so hard loud and painfully that I want to scream. I drank about 3 ounces of milk last night as a chaser for skettie cause I get heart burn..and oh yeah thought I was in labor it hurt so bad. gas bloating (cant get my fat jeans on most the time any more)..and I have a hard time with the limiting my dairy to find out..yes see a doctor I know. Money is tight..so we buy cheap I already cant eat a lot of things because I have high blood pressure..4 bites of my boy friends chef boyardee (who knew it had cheese in it) made me feel like I was gonna puke..yeah I have been nauseated too..some times constipated. I LOOOOVE cheese too I want to cry it makes me so sad. I love soy milk so thats not an issue..if we can afford it an milk for them ..but what else can I eat? Do I sound lactose intolerant?pretty sure i am ((no insurance no job am not eligible for medicaid/disability or out free clinic..so you know I cant go to the doctor..maybe the Emergency room...but that seems silly for this..and another bill)

" there are a number of products out there that come in either pill or liquid form that act as lactase enzymes, which break down the lactose sugars. many people have success with eliminating most or all of their symptoms with this simple fix. i think lactaid is the most common brand. you could also try lactose free milk, it's generally a bit more pricey but i would just drink less of it then.

i'm on an extremely restrictive diet which includes complete avoidance of dairy, wheat, gluten, sugar, fruit, and fermented foods and i still have an adequate diet. i think you can handle going without just dairy for a little while. i love cheese too, don't get me wrong, it's not easy to give up the foods we love but if they are causing you this much pain and discomfort you need to do something about it. my lactose intolerance is just a mask for other food allergies and sensitivities, i hope this is not the case for you.

most nutritionists would argue that beyond infancy dairy is not a beneficial part of a balanced diet anyway.

good luck :-) "
