I have been with my boyfriend for 7 mnths now and he is truly the love of my life and i would do anything for him. He has KS and I am very understanding and supportive of him. I plan on marrying him and have never let his KS effect our relationship. He uses a testosterone gel and I feel like it's just not enough. He has no sexual drive. We barely have sex bc he has trouble having an erection. He is unable to receive the shots bc insurance wont cover it. Does anyone have any advice as to how we can overcome this?

" Google stuff online hun that's how I started my hormonal treatment for my transition while yes I have a penis I've got natural female body and facial structure before undergoing estrogen and anti androgens. Just look into stuff in an online search engine that's how i found out about theplace I go to that helps trans people. It coctss me 15 for my endocrinologist and 8 dollars each time I see my therapist and psychologist plus i get my hormones at walmart and have switched to rite aid so I now can pay like 17 dollars for my hormones. All was done by looking around and thats all I can advise you hun.

" Hey Mung,

I'm not so sure that sex drive is a factor of KS although low levels of testosterone can affect sex drive, I've gone a year or more without testosterone and still stay quite frisky. I've been on the treatments for the past 11 years. The patch didn't work, the shot worked well for a short period but was like being on a roller coaster. The gel works if he can also incorporate some natural testosterone. Muscle creates testosterone naturally. During the past year I've been working out hard and including a lot of muscle building exercises. I recommend that your man joins a gym, continue to take the gel and hopefully he will notice a difference. The ED is more a symptom of the low sex drive. But like I said, my sex drive is not an issue with low testosterone but then again, I'd hate to see how high it would be if my T levels were normal. There are also certain devices that you can get a adult toy stores that will assist with his ED. They work pretty well and will definitely help his morale in the short term. If you have any other questions let me know. Hope everything works out for you.
