Klinefelter's Syndrome Support Group

My son is 14 years old with 47XXY KS. Just this past year, he has been obviously going through the signs of puberty - growing facial, underarm and private area hair; he is going through a growth spurt and has grown several inches and pounds (happily adding to his very tall and slender frame) and just this week, his voice has started to crack. When we spoke with his Pediatrician in February and asked about Testosterone treatment, he advised against it as my son seems to be entering puberty at a typical age. He has not developed extra breast tissue typical of most KS'ers and his muscle development seems on the low end, but within normal ranges. I see from other topics here and other websites that T therapy has other benefits though, including assisting with his academic and social development. I honestly just don't want to subject him to something that may not be necessary, nor do I want to deny him something that will have great benefits. What are your thoughts and experiences?
