For perhaps the last month or so I have felt as if I about to have a meltdown.. I've coped pretty well up until this point, putting everything that could destroy me into a little box, and put it on a shelve to be 'dealt with later', well I guess that 'later' has arrived. my days are swinging up and down, mediocre one minute then feeling very dark later on.

Kleptomania Information
Kleptomania is an inability to resist impulses of stealing. A person with this disorder is compelled to steal things, generally things of little or no value, such as pens, decorative pins, or wall decorations. They are often unaware of performing the theft until some time later.
When the obsession leads to sexual arousal, the term kleptophilia is used. Kleptomania is distinguished from shoplifting or ordinary theft, as shoplifters and thieves generally steal for monetary value, or associated gains and usually display intent or premeditation, while people with kleptomania aren't necessarily contemplating the value of the items they steal or even the theft until they are compulsed.
Although a kleptomaniac may steal uncontrollably without realization, judicial courts in the United Kingdom and United States will not accept "kleptomania" as a legal excuse.
Kleptomania has several different treatments. Behavior modification therapy is used for people with 'kleptomania', as well as family therapy. Some medications that are used for people diagnosed with kleptomania are fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline, lithium, trazodone and Valproate.
