hello every one today is a painful day my nepheu has passed on 16 years old from a atv accident crashed on a tree ,,,,,,,i'm glad that N.A has showed me how to deal with life on life's term i'm able to deal with tis lost ///////////no one reads my journal anywys but if some one happens t see this please write me and send me a hug i really culd use it right about now thank you

What do you do when your best isn't good enough? I feel like that sometimes and no matter how many people tell me that I'm doing fine, it just doesn't seem to register. My whole life situation seems too big to get a handle on, right now. Or maybe I need a nap. I am a firm believer in therapeutic sleep. I'm sick, fighting some nasty viral thing, so needless to say i am not a happy camper. Kylie went back onto the vent yesterday. She has a lung infection, probably pneumonia. They have done cultures and are giving her antibiotics. If it isn't pneumonia, it may be a problem with one of the shunts that they put in her heart. I received a phone call today from Haven's nurse confirming her schedule and list of medication.
Rituximab will be every Friday and we will continue with Cyclosporin at 2 times a day with levels being check every other day. With Rituximab she will get Benadryl in the port prior to administering the chemo. This helps her with any reactions to the chemo and I like it because it relaxes her.

Had some sad news that I wanted to share with all of you. Ally died yesterday morning. Her condition deteriorated rapidly Saturday, they put her on an artificial heart... that truly is doing everything you can... but her condition worsened and she died Sunday morning.
