I have had alot of pains and upon going to ER they said it sounded like stones but none were seen on x-rays. And i am waitting for results from CTScan. Anyway the last few days i have been having alot of problems and recently when i urinated like 6 black specks came out also. I was wondering if anyone knew if that is stones?
Thanks in advance for any help.

" Stones are not usually black. Tan or off white and even brown seems to be normal. Blackish could be old blood clots, nothing to worry about if you have had a stone rattling around. You should try and collect any so they can be looked at by a lab. Ct will tell you if you have any stones. Regular X-ray is tough to see most stones unless they are calcium and you are a thin person. I am nether. Good luck "

" I've had around 30 stones in the past few years, and mine are so small I rarely see them. I've gotten black-ish stones, connected with white tissue, to grains of sand that are grey or white. It all depends on what they are made of and what they come out with, like blood clots around them. Mine are never seen on xray,, but usually on CT. It's also normal to get "sand" which is broken off pieces of the stones...those hurt too. "
