Has anyone ever passed at least a stone a week?

My partner has been passing on average a stone a week for the last 19 months. Nobody can help. He has calcium phosphate stones. We are starting to not cope. He has seen several specialist but they all put there hands in the air and shrug. They do not even know what is causing them. He has been told that something is sending messages to the brain to break down his bones. (bone density was normal) but his teeth for the last 6 months are just breaking up. We need to know if anyone else has been in this situation and what they did. We live in Brisbane Australia and as of today have no specialist to go and see because the nephrologist today, was just useless and didn't even know why my partner was there for, even though he had been seeing him for 6 months. (the doctor couldn't find his chart)

" I am 43 years old and I have been having them since I was 18. I pass them all the time and believe me my doctors are totally nuts. I go to a wonderful guy who is the head of Kidney Stone Research at Duke University his name is Dr. Glen Preminger. He has gotten the stone production down as I don't have them as frequently, but believe me i'm in a lot of pain, but learn to deal with it. Drink lots of water, amazingly enough, drink a lot of lemonade also. I have calcium oxcilate stones. "
