Indeed I am getting older. The only thing bad about being an old mom is it may be hard on the kids being asked if I'm thier grandma, lol. I'm slower for sure, but when I was faster, I was stupider and thought there were things as important as my kids. They are only children for a short time, it makes such a difference in their lives for me to be there for them.

I just spoke to the editor of a local small town paper, that seems to frequently print some form of the truth. Anywho, during the conversation I vioced my concern that there me a very harmful and totally untrue rumor in local circulation, his reply, "well this is a small town". I went to the doc today for my monthly check-up. I had 4 items on my list of things to discuss with her.
1. I'm retaining so much fluid it's ridiculous. I don't mind my lips being a little puffy....ppl pay a lot of money for that! But the whole face? Not so much. So she switched my BP medication and added a diuretic. Problem solved.
