Well It's been a whiole since I've asked for advice. I was fitted for a lense and all has wemt well since. I have Cerebral Palsy that affects my left side, and the lense was fitted for the left. i usually leave the lense in for longer than recommended and ask someone for help taking it out. What I am nervous about is the fact that I'm 6 1/2 months and don't know if my baby will have KC. My next appointment isn't until next month and I also don't know if they're going to discuss what can or can't be done for the right eye. A corneal transplant is what they recommended at the last appointment if I wasn't ok with being able to see better out of the one lense. Any suggestions, advice, all replies welcomed.

Sorry to hear your having a hard time. My doctor said passing it on to your child is not very common so try not to worry about that. You don't want to stress! Good luck with everything!

I am 46 years old and neither of my children have keratoconus. How are you coping? I'm scared to death, but taking it day by day.
