Has anybody had cornea cross -linking treatment for keratoconuses? I understand that this is only available privately at the moment. Just wondered if any one has gone ahead with the treatment??

" It has been 2 years now since I had the cross linking done on both eyes. The results have been good and the bulging corneas have stopped bulging, my eye sight has improved and I believe it was worth every penny spent. I still have extreme dry eye but the restasis seems to be doing the trick for that problem. Having the cross linking done I believe for out weighs having a cornea transplant. Even though it cost me $3,000 per eye it was well worth having done. "
