I am going in for a colonoscopy in 2 days and along with a gastroscopy. Oh what fun. It seems my symptoms are really bad these days and I don't really leave out any foods seeing as everything causes me problems. I think it all stems from antibiotic use when I was a kid. My parents and docs wer always pushing them. Now look at what I get to deal with!!!!!

Hi, I hope your tests went ok. I have IBS and IBD so I have now had three colonoscopies. Its no fun but the best way for the GI Doc to know whats going on. Take care!

Hey thanks for the message. It went really well. It's the prep that is horrible. Peg Lyte...don't ever take it. It's worse than Go Lytely. I had the colonoscopy first and was completely knocked out and was registering pain at one point but was really out of it to really feel it. Then I had the Gastroscopy which I must have been asleep for. Last time I had the colonoscopy was 6 years ago and it didn't hurt at all and I was completely with it, but this time there was pain. It kind of worries me.

Hi I understand you had a colonoscopy well I know you are worried I would be too yet maybe they will find a solution and you will be simptom free for once. I took antibiotics too when my IBS happened and also at the time I had to do things then to get my self to go the bathroom. I know of this person she had test done a cat scan and it did not show anything years later it showed up as something was that comes out occasionally.

Well I had polyps removed. Just waiting to see if they are abnormal. It has been over a week and that is when you find out if something is serious. I think I am out of the woods. Thanks
