" I found I had to try different brands. Some put a lot of flavoring (malt, sugar, etc) in them which seem to upset my stomach. I finally settled on loving Silk Unsweetened. I also like their chocolate-for a special treat I pour it into a durable plastic drink container and freeze it. Take it to work and as it thaws and is icy it's like a cold milkshake. I can't eat any dairy. I like the taste and feel of soy versus rice or other drinks. It has a lot of protien and calcuim too. Sure, none of it tastes like milk but I don't care.

I have no digetive problems with soy, especially this brand. Some peopel get a lot of gas from soy. I think it's a good source of protien and helpful at feeling full for a snack when on a diet.

I don't know what kind of bad press you got but I think it's better than milk. Dairy has as many articles saying it's not good for you.

Good luck! "

" Have you tried Goats milk, yogurt, and butter, I like it as much as cow's milk and I think it's helping me, I'm stopping the butter as it's pale in colour and putting me off, so I'm having PURE soya spread which is dairy free. "

" I use Silk soy milk. I noticed a difference from cow's milk right away. I'd like to try the chocolate flavour for a treat! "
