Hi People
I suffer with IBS-C, and a friend of mine who also has the same condition suggested I take Miralax. I guess my question is, should I use this product everyday? I fear if I do take Miralax every day and become dependent on it I will not be able to have a bowel movement without it. This is my second time using it and it really does help. I also drink cleanser tea. I bought it in china town. The taste isn't so great but it does work. I don't know anything about the tea. I have taken Miralax for constipation. Actually, I found that it helps. I use it as needed. According to my GI dx, it doesn't cause dependancy or anything like that.

Thanks that really helps. I'll continue using it. I just wish the "water cooler" that's what I call the noises in my stomach would stop. I wonder if anyone has any info on how to keep those noises to a minimum.

Probably not. You're better off trying a health food store or something like Whole Foods.

As far as often often you can take it... My dx had me taking it 2 times a day. But I would ask your dx first or at least follow the instructions on the bottle.
