Miralax question

Hello! My IBS symptoms started suddenly in the middle of the night a year and a half ago, and I have not had a day without them since. I've had every test the GI clinic had to offer, and none of them found anything. Just switched to new clinic and had another colonoscopy-- they said there was some inflammation in the biopsy they took, so I am going to see the doc next week. Not sure what that means or what they will do. But my question is this... this new doc had me use Miralax twice a day for two weeks before the colonoscopy, and then go to once a day after (it's been a little over a week now) The Miralax has helped me feel like I'm getting more out when I go, although it hasn't seemed to do much now that I'm just on once a day. But before Miralax, my digestive problems were all lower. Right away when I started using Miralax, I developed heartburn and just this feeling of upper digestive system being slow, like stuff isn't going down quickly or well. I'm suffering from major heartburn and indigestion right now. Has anyone else had upper digestive issues when using Miralax?
