" I have taken Bentyl in the past, and out of all the medications I have taken, it has been the best help. Usually it's prescribed if you have a lot of cramping. Is that the case? "

" I took bentyl many yrs ago. For some reason my Dr. now prescribes levbid or levsin. they seem to work ok, but when i get an attack, i also take immodium in conjunction with the pill. it's all a hit and miss project. you need to fool around with various "cures" to see what works for you. "

" It is NOT good for constipation. It stops the spasming in your bowels so it can cause constipation to get worse. "

" What I meant was if you have any constipation problems do not use it. i'm not sure if it helps diarrhea, but its more for cramps than anything "

" I just started Bentyl 2 days ago. So far I can't tell any difference. How long does it take for it to start working? "
