Anyone know anything about Librax? I was just perscribed this along with Lexapro but have never heard of it. I looked it up online but was just wondering if anyone had any first-hand experience with it. Thanks.

" I've been taking Librax for years. It works really well when the cause of your discomfort is due to stress. It works on your nervous system to relax you the spasms. Once you know what foods set you off you can manage that by cutting them out or only eat them once in awhile. Unfortunately, getting rid of stress is not so managable.

" It was prescibed for me years ago and the Librium in it helped with anxiety but the antispamotic in it gave me only occasional relief. I stopped taking it because Librium is habit forming and you can build up a tolerance. Since the tranquilizing was nice but overall not that helpful, it was not worth the dependance that you can develop. "

" Hi Sweetie,
I've been on Librax for 15 years and swear by it! Have gallstones, IBS. spastic stomach, severe acid reflux and chronic nausea. I can tell if I don't take my Librax for a few days and my GI told me it isn't powerful enough as far as the librium, to become "addicted" to it in a way that would cause major withdrawal. You can get it generic and the side effects, if you have any, should go away within 2 weeks of beginning treatment. Good Luck! "
