does anyone know why?? i thought it helped me out alot but they had a recall on this med. Does anyone know of something better for IBS with constipation that works just as well?

There is anew drug out called Amitiza. My doctor presribed it for me, but after looking it up online, I was too scared to try it!! A co worker of mine took it and ended up in the ER 30 minutes after the first dose. I don't think it has been out long enough yet. She said when she went to the ER and told them what she had taken, that no one there even knew about it yet.
